Guided practice for reconnection, restoration & belonging
Nature & Forest Therapy
Nature & Forest Therapy is a guided practice of slowing down, awakening the senses, and restoring relationship with the living world.
Also known as Shinrin Yoku, or forest bathing, this practice originated in Japan and is now recognized for its support of nervous system regulation, stress reduction, mood, immune health, and overall wellbeing.
Julie offers Nature & Forest Therapy as part of her larger body of work around reconnection, belonging, and Earth-centered healing. These experiences are not hikes or nature lectures. They are gentle, spacious invitations to listen, notice, receive, and remember your relationship with the more-than-human world.
Forest Therapy may be offered privately, in small groups, or through elemental retreats and gatherings. Availability varies seasonally.
For current Field Labos, ReRooting Cohorts, seasonal circles, and other offerings, please visit elemental.
